Hanover sits along the Indian Head River and carries real Colonial-era iron works history at its Four Corners village center — one of the farthest-east towns in our service area, with larger, more established properties than some closer-in towns.
Larger, mature landscapes in Hanover mean we see more pruning, tree/brush clearing and landscape design work here relative to straightforward weekly mowing.
Hanover’s older, more established properties often have significant tree canopy — fine fescue blends tolerate the resulting shade better than a straight Kentucky bluegrass lawn, something we factor into any renovation or overseeding recommendation here.
The heavier tree canopy on many Hanover properties means fall cleanups here often need a second visit as later-dropping species (oak, in particular) finish shedding after the first cleanup pass.
We’ve been using Matt and his team for a few years for our lawn and plowing. The team that services my yard is very communicative and does a great job. This past blizzard I was blown away by the plowing job they did. No big piles next to my car, etc. it’s hard to push the snow but they made it work and saved us a ton of extra cleanup!
Updating review now 2 years with this company. Lawn looks great! Just standard lawn fertilizer program with dethatch and overseed in the fall. Lawn is now healthy, thick and green for first time since I’ve owned this property for 30 years I’ve also used Turf Envy for new sod lawn installation with cobblestone/gravel at another property. good input and suggestions from owner Matt.. it looks awesome! This company may not be the cheapest but I think pricing is fair. They do a great job every week mowing and edging. I couldn’t be happier I chose Turf Envy for landscape and lawn maintenance. —————————————————————————- First year experience with Turf Envy.
